Vidal Pedroza was born and raised in a small town in Mexico. From a young age, he was always involved in farming the land his family owned there. At the age of seventeen, Vidal came to the United States in search of better opportunities. He worked for a few different farmers from 1992 to 1999 when he took a job from Bud Locati installing drip irrigation. He’s been growing Walla Walla Sweet Onions ever since. In 2007, he was given the chance to grow a few acres of his own Walla Walla sweets. Then, in 2016, he was able to purchase part of the farm and packing facility.
